HData is pleased to announce that Laura Zizzo has joined the company's Board of Advisors. Zizzo brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of climate risk, finance, policy, and technology to support HData's continued growth and mission.
A serial founder, Zizzo has built climate-focused businesses across law, management consulting, and technology. She is the Founder of Manifest Climate, an AI-driven software platform that helps organizations worldwide navigate climate and ESG disclosure, sustainability strategy, and climate risk management. Under her leadership, Manifest Climate has built partnerships with Microsoft, major consulting firms, and a wide range of large enterprises. Her latest venture is Estian Partners, a financial platform investing in distributed resilient infrastructure supporting water and wastewater utilities, where she serves as Co-founder and CEO.
A legally-trained entrepreneur and executive, Zizzo has advised major North American financial institutions and local and international governments, and has spoken to investors and executives representing trillions in assets under management. She has also served within the Ontario Ministry of Finance and has been a delegate to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
"Laura has spent her career making complex climate and regulatory data easier for organizations to understand and act on," said Hudson Hollister, CEO of HData. "Her experience helping the world's largest institutions and companies will be invaluable as we continue to expand the ways HData serves the energy industry. I'm looking forward to learning from her experience and putting it to work for our customers."
As a thought leader on climate disclosure, energy regulation, AI in sustainability, and the role of data in climate investment decisions, Zizzo sees a natural connection between her work and HData’s mission. “Data is the backbone of any serious approach to climate risk and disclosure," said Zizzo. "HData is doing important work making regulatory data more accessible and actionable, and I'm excited to contribute to that mission."
