BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – August 21, 2025 – HData today announced three executive leadership promotions that will shape the company’s strategies for technology development and customer expansion. Led by CEO Hudson Hollister, who co-founded HData to digitize the regulatory sector, the HData executive team includes Yuval Lubowich, Jeffrey Press and Allison Myers.
HData co-founder and product leader Yuval Lubowich becomes Chief Product and Technology Officer, reflecting the company’s innovation goals to build a complete system of action for energy regulation. Lubowich and his team developed HData’s Regulatory AI technology, which analyzes large document volumes in seconds, such as utility rate cases. Regulatory AI is in use by more than 30 power utilities and nine state regulatory agencies who leverage the technology to accelerate research, analysis and preparation for proceedings. HData is the sixth startup for Lubowich, who previously led LivePerson’s integration of Contact At Once! and founded AutoDo-It. He became HData’s Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer in 2021.
“By combining the right data from both public and internal sources with AI architecture purpose-built for our industry, we can connect and empower everyone who works in energy regulation,” said Lubowich. “My team and I are excited to further develop the HData platform to cut through the complexities of energy information ranging from rate cases and tariffs to utility finance and rising electricity demand.”
Chief Revenue Officer Jeffrey Press is named HData’s Chief Operating Officer. Press joined HData in 2023 and has since increased revenue nearly twelvefold by designing a go-to-market strategy centered around delivering high value to the regulated energy industry. Press previously advised the White House Office of Management and Budget on government performance, chaired the Data Foundation and led go-to-market teams for Tyler Technologies and Promise. As COO, Press will lead HData’s commercial business, including marketing, sales and customer success teams, and scale HData’s deployments to connect and empower regulatory professionals across U.S. energy utilities, regulatory agencies and the broader energy industry.
“Growing an innovative SaaS platform in a well-established industry requires extra creativity and persistence,” said Press. “I’m proud to lead a team that has continually demonstrated these qualities, and is now serving nearly 200 customers in energy regulation. In providing irreplaceable value for the professionals who deal with extreme complexity to manage the regulatory aspects of energy, HData can win for both our customers and our investors.”
Allison Myers, who helped lead HData’s Series A capital raise in 2024, is promoted to Chief Growth and Strategy Officer. Myers spent nearly a decade in Accenture Strategy’s power and utility practice, co-founded Buoyant Ventures in 2020 and later joined HData as fractional Vice President of Strategy. Following the acquisition led by Myers of the Insight Engine software platform, she will now spearhead HData’s planning, mergers and acquisitions, capital journey, corporate performance and corporate development.
“I recognized HData’s potential as an investor because I’d seen first-hand the industry’s pain as a utility strategy consultant,” said Myers. “Regulatory complexity, cost and opacity are the greatest barriers to meeting rising energy demand and advancing the energy transition. The opportunity to apply new technology to bring transparency and open access to high-value energy regulatory data—turning it into actionable intelligence—creates enormous economic value for our customers and for HData. That potential drove me to lead the Series A, join HData’s board and ultimately join the C-suite.”
Hollister shared that, “these changes and expanded roles reflect HData's evolution into a company that's truly transforming how the energy industry manages regulatory complexity,” said Hollister. “This team’s vision and leadership in developing our Regulatory AI solution, expanding our customer base and strategically growing with the right technology and investment partners are what have helped set us up for continued growth and execution of our plans. We are prepared to tackle even more of the barriers that the energy sector faces with regulatory efficiency.”
