HData, provider of AI-powered regulatory data solutions for the energy industry, today announced the appointment of Allison Myers as fractional vice president of strategy. This addition to the executive leadership team will help guide the company's growth after a successful 2024 of customer expansion and major product releases.

Myers brings nearly a decade of experience from Accenture Strategy’s power and utilities practice, combined with expertise in climate technology and venture capital. As a co-founder and general partner of Buoyant Ventures, she played a key role in leading HData’s Series A funding last year. At HData, Myers will concentrate on driving corporate performance, spearheading business development efforts and advancing growth in the energy sector.

"Working with large utilities and energy players over the years, I've experienced firsthand the painful challenges of finding and analyzing regulatory data," Myers said. "HData is addressing a widespread issue across the energy ecosystem. Our customers are already seeing the benefits of access to more comprehensive data, and gaining a deeper understanding of regulatory information in far less time."

HData offers analytics, intelligence and compliance solutions to a wide range of energy stakeholders, including utilities, independent power producers, regulators, advocates and service providers. By combining AI and automation with a centralized database of federal and state regulatory filings, HData supports the energy industry in moving toward greater efficiency, consistency and transparency in regulatory data and decision-making.

HData is a venture-backed Techstars company with customers including NextEra Energy, Southern Company and Pacific Gas & Electric. The company was recently named to the GovTech 100 list for the second consecutive year.

"Allison's expertise is so valuable for this stage of HData's growth," said Hudson Hollister, CEO of HData. "She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and will be a tremendous partner to our customers in improving the ways they navigate and more efficiently use regulatory data."
