Announcing HData Platform Integrations

New Integration Capabilities Streamline Data Centralization

Centralized regulatory data is foundational to the HData platform. In addition to the 23 million files in the HData Library from FERC dockets, state dockets, IRP catalogs and more, HData has long supported file uploads. This allows users to leverage the powerful capabilities of Regulatory AI with documents that are not publicly available.

From rate case testimony preparation to data request management, organizations often want support for AI-powered analysis with files that may be confidential or otherwise not filed with commissions. These documents are stored in the organization's file repository, such as Microsoft SharePoint. When these documents number in the thousands, users quickly run into two common limitations:

  • AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot have low document upload limits. To work with SharePoint files within Copilot, users must limit AI sessions to small batches, which is often impractical with high document volumes.
  • Downloading files from the organization's file repository, then uploading those files into a separate tool for AI-powered research or analysis can be highly manual, cumbersome and time consuming.

Data Integrations in the HData Platform

To help users more easily work with propriety documents, HData now supports integrations with common file management systems. This enables streamlined and secure access to your organization’s documents within the HData platform, allowing you to seamlessly work with these files in Regulatory AI. Data integrations in the HData platform:

  • Sync files automatically between connected environments and HData
  • Give you full control over user permissions for every connection
  • Empower you to use Regulatory AI for comprehensive analysis on proprietary documents along with the millions of public filings available in the HData Library

How to Connect an Integration

HData will partner with you and your IT team to connect integrations. We’ll collect your requirements for the folders and files to sync, and map connections as drives within the Data Hub of the HData platform. Files are then available as read-only, and cannot be modified, moved, or altered within HData.

Enterprise-ready connections include SharePoint, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Google Drive. Integrations are included with your subscription to HData. To get started with an integration, contact your HData Customer Success Manager.
