HData continues to expand the industry's largest library of centralized regulatory documents for the power and water sectors. Built with authoritative data sources, the HData Library allows users to access regulatory documents filed with numerous regulatory bodies, and analyze these documents using AI.
Two new state-level regulatory document catalogs are now available in the HData platform with the release of the Florida Public Service Commission Dockets Catalog and the Public Utility Commission of Texas Dockets Catalog. These data sources add nearly two million files to the HData Library, in addition to other public utility commission and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) documents.
Advanced search features and filtering enable users to navigate millions of regulatory documents to locate information that is pertinent to rate cases, infrastructure approvals, resource planning, and other types of utility and regulatory analysis. Built-in AI helps users quickly understand and gather insights from lengthy, and often complex documents, drastically reducing the time and cost burdens of regulatory research and analysis.
New Sources Coming to the HData Library
In late 2024, HData will release public utility commission docket catalogs for Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. HData will also release the industry's first Resource & Transmission Plan Catalog, a centralized offering of publicly filed planning documents from more than 150 utilities across the country. This data helps utilities, regulators, intervenors, investment analysts, and service providers to gain visibility into projected power costs and reliability, understand potential growth of renewable energy sources, or identify procurement that may occur. The Resource & Transmission Plan Catalog will be available to all HData users and included with a subscription to the HData Library.
